Embellished Suspenders for Girls!

Every so often the testers in our boy's group get super creative and dream up new ways to use our boy patterns for their girls. Why not, right? Everyone loves versatile patterns! Well this last little round turned out SOOOO super cute that we knew you would all want to see. So here you go! 

Everyone knows that the William's  suspenders are absolutely adorable on the little guys. Stephanie Baker's baby boy is so dashing in his William's, Connor's, and Noah's!  But guess what. His big sister also has a matching suspender's outfit, all blinged out girly-style! 

Isn't this the most precious little matching set ever?!  I could stare at their cuteness all day long. 

Stephanie made the top using Blanche's and Sally's, the skirt using modified Amanda's, and then she finished it all off with her suspenders! A perfect outfit! 

To make the girly suspenders, Stephanie simply followed the instructions for William's and then added bubble bows at the bottom of each strap.

The suspenders attach in front and back using suspender clips. If you have never made suspenders before, they are SUPER easy using the William's instructions. That leaves you plenty of time to embellish them! 

Here's another really fun set that Lindsay Kelley made for her daughter's 80's Skate Party.  I bet she was the star of the party!  (Ha, get it?)  But really -- I'm sure she was the cutest little skater out there. 

For this pair, Lindsay simply made the fabric stars and attached them in fun places.  You could do this with bows, buttons, flowers, gems... anything! 

Now here is Rikki's take on the suspenders.  I love her style!  And wait until you see the back --

A connecting bow! How perfect is that?!  

Rikki made an Emmett's bow tie and then instead of crossing the suspenders in back, she attached the bow on each end.  So. Stinking. Adorable!  And since the suspenders are fully adjustable, you can make all kinds of changes like this to the suspenders without messing up the fit.
